Katrina Wilson Howard is the Founder and Chief Program Officer of K&H Consulting Management. She brings more than 12 years of experience in project management and disaster recovery services. She is a highly sought-after management consultant and entrepreneur that offers technical support to both the private and public sectors.
Prior to founding K&H Consulting Management, Katrina served as a Disaster Recovery Specialist for FEMA during Hurricane Harvey, where she worked in a variety of capacities including grant management, mitigation, public assistance, damage assessments, training, and exercises. She also served as a Project Manager for CHI Baylor St Luke’s Medical Center, where she managed the construction of a $900 million medical facility. Katrina holds various certifications and licenses, including being a certified Insurance Adjuster in Texas, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana. She is also a commissioned notary public for the state of Texas.
Her work performance extends across the country. Most recently, Katrina served as a consultant for Houston area disaster recovery firms where she assisted with disaster response and recovery following Hurricanes Harvey and Barry. Katrina currently serves as a senior consultant for a large disaster recovery firm where she is responsible for the project and construction management of over 50 residences damaged or destroyed during the 2021 Texas winter storm.
In addition to founding K&H Consulting Management, Katrina is a community leader. She serves as a prayer ministry leader at the Word of Restoration International Church in Rosharon, Texas. Katrina is also a licensed hair stylist, in which she provides services to many members within her community.
Valerie Cooper currently serves as the Operations Manager for K&H Consulting Management. She has extensive experience in Operations Management with emphasis on Health Information Management (HIM) and quality assurance. Her career spans over 30 years including serving as a HIM Operations Manager (Supervisory) for M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. There she led a team specializing in gathering, analyzing, and releasing health information.
She is an expert in managing operating capabilities, defining business and functional requirements, and executing business strategies. She is responsible for overseeing the staff solutions for K&H Consulting Management, which includes client retention, coordinating workflow processes and monitoring of other decision-making tools.
Valerie is a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) and holds an Executive MBA from Texas Woman’s University. She currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Health Information Technology at Houston Community College. Her professional affiliations include American Health Information Management Association, Texas Health Information Management Association, and the Houston Area Health Information Management Association where she serves as on the Executive Board Finance Committee since 2013.
Tiffany Cooper currently serves as the Project Coordinator and Field Inspector of K&H Consulting Management. Tiffany brings in more than 20 years of experience as a versatile business professional. She possesses expert level organization and intuitive business skills. At K&H, Tiffany coordinates site inspections, develops property assessment, and prepares cost estimates. She is a leader in conducting pre-construction meetings and serving as a liaison with homeowners.
Prior to K&H Consulting Management, Tiffany worked as a Program Manager of the U.S.Census of Houston, Texas. Furthermore, she was an Office Administrator Trainer Server of Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen, and she was an Operations Specialist of Hillstone Restaurant Group.
Tiffany holds a Bachelor of Healthcare Administration from the University of Houston and is currently studying to obtain a Master's Degree from Southern New Hampshire University. Her strong work ethic and tenacity is pivotal to the success of K&H Consulting Management.
